In June, I will be traveling to Uganda to volunteer with Play Action International, an incredible charity dedicated to supporting children through play. During my time there, I’ll be helping to build a playground at a local primary school and leading creative play sessions with the children alongside a team of fellow volunteers. This project is a wonderful opportunity to promote development in problem-solving, creativity, and imagination skills that will help these children thrive.

Visiting Africa has always been a dream of mine, and the chance to make a meaningful impact while experiencing the beauty of Uganda is an exciting and rewarding opportunity. To raise the necessary funds for this journey, I’ve set myself a challenge: I will walk and run the equivalent distance across Uganda, from the east to the west coast, which is about 470 km. Over the course of March, I will aim to cover approximately 15 km each day, and I’ll be sharing my progress with you along the way!
