Walking

The Farming Community Network (FCN) is a charity and voluntary organisation that supports farmers and families within the farming community through difficult times, whether the issue is personal or business related. Our confidential national helpline is open every day of the year from 7am-11pm.

Story

For this year's fundraiser I have decided to walk 100km across the month of April to raise money for FCN (The Farming Community Network).

FCN is a voluntary organisation and charity that supports farmers and families in the farming community through difficult times.Farming is not just a job, it’s a way of life. Farming is very rewarding but it can be very hard and lonely. Farmers have to look after their animals, put up with the bad weather, deal with the rising farming cost and on top of their responsibilities they have to deal with issues in their personal life.

FCN has a network of volunteers who provide free support to anyone who asks for help.I feel their job is very important. By doing my 100km walking challenge I’m not only hoping to raise much-needed funds but also awareness of the amazing work they do.

Please support me in my challenge so FCN can carry on supporting farmers and their families.
