Story
Josh Edwards is a 13 year old boy who was enjoying all the opportunities and things that life offers a teenager at the peak of their life, when, completely out of the blue, a tumour the size of a tennis ball was discovered on his skull during a routine MRI last summer. There had been no indication of anything up to this point. Histology came back showing it to be a highly aggressive brain cancer. Our world came crashing down.
Josh had this tumor removed August 2024. Since then, he has started maintenance treatment to ensure that the cancer will be blasted to smithereens, hopefully never to return. This treatment has taken the form of a sandwich of Chemotherapy, Proton Beam Radiotherapy, followed by more Chemotherapy. He will shortly be starting the final leg, which is 8 cycles of Chemotherapy.
Joshie has been an absolute warrior throughout this, with unwavering positivity and determination.
