In an effort to protect and restore the environment, school-going children across South Western Uganda have taken an active role in planting trees within their communities. This initiative not only contributes to reforestation and the fight against climate change, but also nurtures a sense of environmental responsibility among the youth. By planting indigenous and fruit-bearing trees around schools, homes, and public spaces, students are helping to combat soil erosion, improve biodiversity, and secure a greener future for generations to come. This grassroots effort highlights the power of education and community action in environmental conservation.
