Story

On Friday 30th June 2023, my Dad (Peter Aldis), died unexpectedly of heart failure. The real cause of his death was a disease he had been battling since his twenties: Diabetes. The disease took him away from our lives way too soon at the age of 59.

This year I plan to run the Sydney Half Marathon in May, hike Ben Nevis in June (with Kitty & Conor) and run the Sydney Full Marathon in September, all in memory of Dad and to help raise money for Diabetes UK. A charity who campaign for better care, give support in times of need and fund ground-breaking research into new treatments and a cure for Diabetes - https://www.diabetes.org.uk/

For what would've been his 60th year alive, I hope I can raise as much as possible so please donate if you can ❤️ Thank you!
