We’re raising money for the CdLS Foundation UK & Ireland, a charity that provides vital support, information and advocacy for individuals and families affected by Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS).

A member of the Freedom Fire & Security family (Miley, 13) was diagnosed with CdLS at the age of 2.

CdLS is a rare genetic condition that affects around 1 in 10,000–30,000 children. It can cause a wide range of physical, developmental and medical challenges, including feeding difficulties, hearing and vision problems, delayed speech, learning disabilities and behavioural differences. Every person with CdLS is unique, and the severity and impact of the condition can vary greatly.

The CdLS Foundation UK & Ireland provides specialist advice, resources and a supportive community for families navigating life with this complex condition. They also help raise awareness and support research to improve understanding and care for those living with CdLS.
