Story
Support the Freeva team in the Run Leicester Race on Sunday 13th October to raise funds for a crucial cause.
Some of the Freeva team is lacing up our running shoes and taking on the Run Leicester Race 10K and Half Marathon to raise vital funds for our work supporting victims-survivors of domestic and sexual violence and abuse, along with their families.
At Freeva, we are committed to breaking the cycle of abuse. We empower victims to rebuild their lives, boost their self-esteem, and create a future where they never become victims again. We also work with those who have used abuse, helping them to change their behaviours and confront the trauma they’ve often experienced themselves.
Our educational programmes teach teenagers the importance of caring, respectful, and equal relationships, building a foundation for a safer future. We support women trapped in sex slavery, victims of traditional harmful practices, and those too scared to give evidence in court. We’re there for people battling suicidal thoughts and self-harm, providing the crucial support they need.
This race is about more than just crossing the finish line; it’s about raising awareness and funds to ensure we can continue our life-changing work. But we can’t do it without your support.
Please donate and help us make a difference. Together, we can bring hope and healing to those who need it most.
