Story
A 10 year anniversary screening of FREEZING, raising money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
This screening is dedicated to the memory of our dear friend Jamie Baughan, who passed away in July 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jamie was a brilliant, funny, and warm presence, a truly unique talent we were fortunate to have in our film—and even more fortunate to have as a friend.
Originally premiering at the London Surf Film Festival in 2015, this special 10-year anniversary screening includes an all-new behind-the-scenes montage—offering an exclusive glimpse into our filming journey in Iceland.

Jamie loved being by the sea and the RNLI was very close to his heart. His grandad lived in Westgate and volunteered for them for years.
I remember the last time he visited us in Cornwall, when his health was starting to decline. We sat together on the rocks near Mousehole, cooking fish as the sun set on a clear June evening. All of a sudden, an RNLI lifeboat passed right in front of us, cutting across the water on its way back to Newlyn Harbour. It was such a simple but lovely moment, and I know it meant a lot to Jamie at the time.
Every penny raised from this film will go straight to this amazing and important institution. I also hope it gives the film a bit of a new life, even 10 years on—so more people can enjoy it and see Jamie being his brilliant self.
