Can Betty make it for WhizzKidz?
On Sunday 8 June I will join 150 bikers for the Hop Run, the charity ride out organised by the Ride of the Ruperts (RotR) for the wonderful Whizz Kidz charity.
Last year it was all about confidence and skills. This year I’m raising the bar as I’m planning to ride Betty my classic Yamaha Enduro 125.
Whilst I’m yet to pass my licence due to personal circumstances, I still love a challenge and Betty is just the ride!
Help me beat last year’s fundraising of £720. Any funds I raise will be matched up to £500 by Lloyds Foundation.
The RotR have already raised thousands of pounds and I want to support them again this year to exceed last year’s funds raised.
Why am I doing this?
Over 75,000 young people in the UK need to use a wheelchair to be mobile.
Unfortunately, they cannot access the equipment that meets their needs through local services. We're here for all of them.
Whizz Kidz are the UK’s leading charity supporting young wheelchair users up to 25 years old. They empower young wheelchair users with the equipment, support, and confidence-building experiences they need to take an active role in society. The Whizz Kidz goal is to create a movement for progress towards a more open and accessible world.
Help me with my goal to help kids reach theirs 😊
