Story
Hello! We will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Breast Cancer Now on 12th April 2026.
At just 17, Isabel found a significant breast lump, which needed to be surgically removed, thankfully, it turned out to be benign. Only one year later, she found another breast lump, something quite unusual for someone her age, which thankfully didn't require any surgical treatment.
Over half of women do not check their breasts regularly for potential signs of breast cancer. It is the most common form of cancer in the UK, with 1 woman diagnosed every 10 minutes.
Breast Cancer Now is the UK's leading breast cancer charity, dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by breast cancer. They combine world-class research with practical support, aiming to accelerate breakthroughs in prevention, detection and treatment - while being there for people facing breast cancer today.
We are running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to support everyone going through treatment, their family and friends, and to raise awareness of the potential signs of breast cancer.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
Lots of love, Freya and Isabel x
