Freya and 35 of her Carnegie team mates are heading to Lanzarote in February 2025 for a week's warm weather training camp in preparation for the long course (50m pool) season in 2025.

To help offset some of the costs for the club the swmmers attending the camp will be doing a sponsored swim event. Collectively they will swim the distance from Carnegie swimming pool in Dunfermline to Barcelo Active Resort in Lanzarote through attending training. The total distance is 4,181,000 metres. This will cumulatively take 5–6 weeks to achieve. We will start after the October holidays on Monday 21st October running through to 1st December. Coaches will track distances swum by the swimmers during training and the cumulative total will be published weekly.

Any donations big or small will be greatly appreciated by the swimmers.
