Hi everyone,

I’m a support worker at Cambridge Women’s Resources Centre (CWRC), and on the 20th of October I’m running the Yorkshire Marathon to raise funds for CWRC. This is my first marathon, and I would love to raise as much as possible for the women and girls we support.

CWRC is a charity which has been providing essential support, resources, and advocacy to women and girls since 1982. We offer a range of support services in a safe, trauma-informed environment to empower women seeking positive change.

We provide courses for education and employability, advice on housing and homelessness, activities for art and wellbeing, as well as individual support services and programmes for women who have been affected by domestic abuse.

CWRC also offers a free shop which is stocked with pre-loved clothing, self-care toiletries and period products.
