Support My London Marathon Run for Alzheimer’s Society!
Next year, I will be taking on the challenge of running the 2025 London Marathon in support of Alzheimer’s Society—a cause that is incredibly close to my heart. My great nan suffered from dementia throughout the later years of her life, which was devastating for our family to witness. Also, as a carer for the elderly I witness first-hand the heart-breaking and devastating effects of this disease on individuals and their families. I’m running in loving memory of my great nan and to support all the elderly people I care for who are living with dementia.
Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia impact millions of people worldwide. No one should ever have to go through Alzheimer's disease or have to see a loved one suffer.
This marathon is more than just a race for me—it's a way to honour every single person that has been affected by the disease. By supporting me you will be contributing directly to Alzheimer’s Society's efforts to find better treatments, provide crucial support services, and drive forward research that could one day lead to a cure.
I’m sure many of us know someone who has been affected by Alzheimer’s disease, whether directly or indirectly, and have seen the massive impact it can have. Together, we can make a difference.
Please consider supporting my marathon run by donating to this vital cause. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to a world without dementia.
Thank you for your support and generosity. It means more than you could imagine!
