Story
After losing my Dad in 2025, following a brain tumour and secondary cancer diagnosis, I have decided to run the half marathon and raise funds for Brain Tumour Research. I believe if there was a better understanding of how brian tumours present and can impact people who have had previous cancers, then my family may have been able to hold on to my incredible Dad a lot longer. 25 years with my Dad wasn't enough and if I can help this cause possibly prevent this heartbreak for anyone else, then I'm going to try.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.
Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.
