We are so excited to announce this year our sponsored event is a high-energy, whole-school GLADIATOR DAY taking place on Wednesday 22nd April 2026! Inspired by the BBC’s Gladiators, this unforgettable event will feature a very special visit from Gladiator STEEL himself.

For one action-packed day, children from Nursery through to Year 6 will become “Gladiators in Training,” building confidence and resilience as they prepare for an exciting afternoon where they will complete our very own FMP Eliminator Challenge!!

Our Blue and Red teams will go head-to-head in the Ultimate Eliminator, which will see each pupil tackle a variety of fun (yet demanding!) obstacle courses…just like on telly!…racing against the clock to achieve the best time. And of course there will be foam fingers and plenty of Gladiator spirit to see which team will be crowned FMP Gladiator Champions!!!

Additionally, we have organised for each class to also meet Steel in person!! Each pupil will also take home an autographed photo of Steel and water bottle as a special keepsake from this incredible day.

We have an ambitious goal to raise £5,000! Please help your child/ren to reach out to family & friends to support them. All sponsorship, big or small, is hugely appreciated and will go directly towards school stage lighting for the main hall.

So, the only question left to ask is… “Gladiators are you ready!??”
