Story
For those of you hearing Frankie’s story for the first time. Frankie is our little boy. He was perfect in every single way, he loved everything about life. He was happy, healthy and enthusiastic about everything! Ask anyone who knew him or met him and they will tell you about his beautiful big smile! In May 2019, Frankie was put to bed as normal, tucked in with a bedtime story and a kiss. When we awoke the next morning we found Frankie unresponsive in bed. Heartbreakingly, Frankie passed away in his sleep aged 3. We still have unanswered questions as to why this happened. From that day, with the most amazing support network, we have become absolutely determined that Frankie will save other children like him in the future. We are fiercely building Frankie’s legacy and raise money for the charity Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood UK. They raise awareness, fund research and have recently secured a parliamentary debate on SUDC!This page is for anyone who wants to donate to Frankie's legacy and support the work of SUDC UK! Thank you so so much!
Much love Sarah (Frankie’s mummy)
SUDC UK is a registered, national charity dedicated to raising awareness, funding research and supporting families affected by Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC).
SUDC is the sudden and unexpected death of a child aged 1-18 years where the cause of death remains unexplained after a thorough investigation. 40 children are affected every year in the UK, more than young child deaths due to traffic accidents, fires or drowning and comparable to 1-2 seemingly healthy children dying every fortnight. Thank you for your support.
