This year, my son AJ (9) and daughter Lottie (5) are once again taking part in Santas on the Run at the Eden Project — running in memory of their cousin, Baby Daisy, who sadly passed away three years ago.

As we reflect on another year without Daisy, we remember how she taught us that life is precious, so take it by the horns. We strive to make her proud. During Daisy’s short life, the South West Children’s Hospice gave my brother and his family comfort and care. We will always remain deeply grateful for the love and support they provided.

Now AJ and Lottie want to give back by raising funds so that other families facing heartbreak can find the same care, space, and support when they need it most.
