Story
Join us this October for a 4km charity walk between our care homes in Winchmore Hill and Southgate, starting at 1:30pm on Saturday 3 October 2026 from Anastasia Lodge.
Following the success of our previous fundraising walks, including raising over £20,000 for the Alzheimer's Society, we're once again inviting family, friends, residents' loved ones, children, and even dogs to come together and support this important cause.
Our guided walk is fully wheelchair accessible and is expected to take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. We'll make our way through the beautiful Grovelands Park before continuing along Southgate High Street, finishing at Autumn Gardens, where everyone is welcome to relax and enjoy refreshments, homemade cakes, and time together.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference to the lives of people affected by dementia.

Supporting Alzheimer's Society
Dementia affects millions of people and their families across the world, and currently there is no cure. In the UK, someone develops dementia approximately every three minutes, with Alzheimer's disease being the most common form.
By supporting the Alzheimer's Society, you'll be helping fund pioneering research, provide practical support to those living with dementia, and campaign for a better future for everyone affected by the condition.
Thank you for helping us make a difference.
*The duration of the walk may vary depending on the walking pace of participants on the day.
