Story
The Music Works is a Gloucestershire based charity with a mission to transform young lives through the power of music. The charity is currently building 'The Forest Community Music Hub', a state-of-the-art facility that will empower young people and bring music to the local community, giving them things to do, opportunity to make new friends and feel proud of where they live.
To have our own Hub in Cinderford would be amazing! Being able to make music and come to a space where you feel like you belong, it really does make a lasting difference.
The Challenge
"The Music Works walks Hub to Hub"
A group of us staff and friends of the charity have decided to walk the distance between The Music Works Hub in Gloucester and the new location in Forest of Dean (15.6 miles) with the aim to raise £1,500 towards making this space a reality.
Whilst on the walk, we have also challenged ourselves to write an a original song which you can be a part of! When you donate, just leave a word in the comment section that you would like us to incorporate in the song and we'll work it in. If we hit our target of £1,500 we will share the song with our supporters.
