Frome Town Band is once more representing itself with a 6-head team,

"The Mermoids"

on the afternoon of the 3rd of March 2024.

They will change their instruments to fins and flukes for a few hours to raise money through a sponsored swim, organised by Frome Lions Club.

50% of the money raised will go back into the band to support our beginners and schools project in Frome, while the other 50% will go directly to Frome Lions Club beneficiaries, specifically the Youth Club.

Frome Town Band is proud to support this important cause, helping youngsters, young carers, young leaders in challenging times.

Our team, "The Mermoids", is incredibly dedicated and determined to swim well. Last year, they even won the "most laps" category! Also raised £800 within a week! We believe that with your support, we will make a huge difference again this year.

Our Mermoids will swim from 2pm at the Leisure centre on the 3rd of March 2024. We invite you to cheer for our team as they dive into the pool and swim their hearts out for Frome Town Band and Frome Lions Club.
