Since 1885, SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity has been a trusted source of support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need. Our teams of trained volunteers and employees provide practical, emotional and financial assistance to the Armed Forces community to make sure they never battle alone.

This is in honour of my Father -In-Law George Givens who served in the Army for many years and worked tirelessly for SSAFA after retirement always thinking of others. He passed this year from cancer. He was a great man and was on the MBE list for 2026
