Story

A Sweet Partnership: Fudge Kitchen Launches Campaign for MND Awareness and Support this June

Fudge Kitchen is proud to announce a meaningful partnership with the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, with a series of impactful and engaging fundraising activities across the country throughout June.

This month, Fudge Kitchen teams and customers will come together to raise vital funds and awareness for those affected by motor neurone disease, a life-shortening neurological condition that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. With fundraising activity scheduled around key June milestones, including Father’s Day, National Fudge Day and Global MND Awareness Day, Fudge Kitchen aim to raise both funds and awareness for a cause that is close to their hearts.

The decision to support the MND Association this year is a deeply personal one for Katy Towse, Fudge Kitchen PR and Marketing Manager, who lost her father, Andy Morris, to MND in 2019. Seeing first hand the profound impact this condition can have, Katy was keen to shine a light on a disease that urgently needs more awareness, more research, and more support.

“This partnership is our way of standing in solidarity with every individual and family affected by MND. I’m very grateful for the support my own family received from the MND Association during my dad’s illness, and I’m delighted to now have the opportunity to give something back. Of course, our goal is to raise essential funds and awareness for the charity—but on a personal level, I’m proud to be part of a campaign that not only has real impact but also celebrates his memory in such a fun and meaningful way.”
