Fulbourn Primary School's fundraiser for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust

Fulbourn Primary School is raising money for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust

Rainbows for Brainbows · 1 December 2025

We want to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals experiences the highest quality of care available. We raise funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff and extra comforts for patients, over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.

Story

Rainbows for Brainbows.

On Monday 1st December we are inviting everyone to come to school dressed in their brightest most colourful clothes, accessories and hairstyles as we raise awareness and funds for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) who supports children’s services across Addenbrooke’s Hospital, including providing an annual grant to help fund the Brainbow service.

Brainbows is the UK’s first rehabilitation service for children with brain tumours. Launched in 2013, Brainbow is a unique partnership between independent charities – Anna’s Hope, Camille’s Appeal, Tom’s Trust, and more recently, Joshua Tarrant Trust – working with Addenbrooke’s Hospital to fund and provide a pioneering rehabilitation service in the East of England for all children with brain tumours.

We have chosen to raise awareness and funds for Brainbows, an organisation which has made a real difference to a member of our school community. Please help us to support Brainbows in their mission to ensure all children with brain tumours reach their full potential.
