Today Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service, support over 200 children and their families in our local community. They are committed to reaching every child who needs them, expanding their services so that no family is left without the care and support they deserve.
To achieve this, they urgently need to grow their clinical team. One of their key priorities is funding a Band 6 nurse, a highly skilled professional who can deliver complex, specialist care and provide reassurance to families when they need it most. The annual cost of employing a nurse at this level is £46,000.
With increasing pressure on charitable funding and reductions in government spending, charities like Alexander Devine are facing greater challenges than ever before. Demand for services continues to rise, but without additional funding, their ability to expand and reach more families is limited.
