Story
On May 3rd, a group of us will be taking on the Seven Sisters hike to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).
MAP provides essential healthcare services, emergency medical aid, and long-term health support to communities with limited access to care in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. Their work is life saving for families facing ongoing crisis and hardship.
Ramadan is not only a time of fasting and spiritual reflection but also a period that highlights the importance of charity and giving back to the community. It’s a time of compassion and generosity, especially towards those in need. The final ten days of Ramadan hold even greater significance, when rewards for good deeds are multiplied.
While many of us break our fasts in safety and comfort, countless families in Palestine continue to face immense hardship, struggling to access healthcare, medicine, and basic necessities.
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
“Charity does not decrease wealth. No one forgives another except that Allah increases him in honour, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status.”
Every donation, no matter how small, will help support vital medical care for those who need it most. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also be a meaningful way to support the cause.
May Allah reward you abundantly for any support you give this Ramadan.
Jazakallah Khair🤍
