Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for CLSG's Sponsored Walk 2023!
On the 23rd June, CLSG staff and students walked an amazing 11 miles in the Annual Sponsored Walk to support Street Child’s work in Liberia to improve the access to education for the vulnerable and out-of-school children in the country. This will ensure that they are safe, in school, and most importantly- learning.
Liberia has an immense need after 14 years of civil war, the Ebola outbreak, and now the coronavirus pandemic; 21% of primary age children across the country are out of school, with girls consistently being deprioritised.
Your support will enable Street Child to: establish safe and secure learning in rural and remote areas where there are not schools; raise awareness of the importance, equitability, and availability of schooling; create relevant learning materials; and strengthen teaching capacity through training.
