This page is dedicated to the memory of our much-loved Husband, Dad, and Grandad, John Tweedy, who passed away peacefully at home on 31st December 2025.

For many years, John had a deep admiration for the incredible work carried out by the Great North Air Ambulance. In tribute to his lasting legacy, we kindly ask that any donations be made to this remarkable organisation at his funeral, in lieu of flowers.

We are also delighted to share that British Gas (or The Gas Board, as John fondly referred to it) has generously agreed to match all donations, up to a maximum of £500. This is something that I know would have made my Grandad very proud of given his many years of service for them.

Please give what you can if you are able to do so. Your contributions will not only honour John's memory but also support the life-saving efforts of the Great North Air Ambulance.
