Tragically on the 25th of April 2023, our colleague Richard Sheffield died of a heart attack aged 58. As a team we wanted to do something in memory of him.

He was very involved with a number of charities, however one of them called One in Four was very close to Richard’s heart. On 17th August we will be climbing Snowdon to raise money to help One in Four, who provide services to support survivors of child sexual abuse as well as those who have experienced sexual violence, domestic violence, and abuse.

One in Four are named so, as evidence shows as many as one in four adults have experienced some form of sexual abuse before the age of 18, regardless of ethnicity, gender, or class.

Every pound donated will be put to hard work to support the service, but most importantly to work with their clients who are living with the trauma and legacy of their experience.
