Jake & Katie's fundraiser for Lambourn Riding for the Disabled Association

Jake Rowell is raising money for Lambourn Riding for the Disabled Association

Brighton Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·

Lambourn RDA is self supporting charity, so fund raising is an essential part of ensuring we can continue to provide a centre for riding. Horse riding offers an opportunity for enjoyment, challenge, friendship, laughter, achievement, independence and confidence for our 45 registered disabled riders.

Story

Many of you know that Maisie received a diagnosis early last year.

Maisie has developed a real passion for horse riding. Not only does horse riding provide Maisie with so much joy, it also helps develop strength in lots of her muscle groups.

From September 2024 Lambourn RDA has given Maisie the opportunity to take part in weekly riding sessions at Manor Farm Stables in Chilton Foliat.

To carry out the wonderful work that they do, Lambourn RDA relies on the input of volunteers and donations.

As a thank you to Lambourn RDA for supporting Maisie, Katie and I are running Brighton Marathon in April 2025 in a bid to raise money for the charity.
