Story

On the 18th January my idol, my biggest inspiration, my grandad Alan Harold Fuller took his last breath peacefully at home.
Farleigh Hospice were truly amazing toward his last days and we couldn’t have asked for better care and compassion from them. I am doing a 7am until 7pm run on my grandads birthday the 17th November in his memory, and that will take place around my local area of Braintree, Essex. I am hoping to raise as much money as I can so please do consider donating in my grandads memory for all that the great Farleigh Hospice did for him. I am also doing this as mentally I am struggling with him not being here anymore and me doing this is also a means of me healing a bit mentally.
The hardest working man I knew and a man who was full of no complaints amidst pain, only gratitude, kindness, strength and warmth and hoping that his family are okay even in his last days which serves as a stark reminder how unselfish he was and shows the type of man and human being he was. So many memories treasured I am so happy that I had you as my grandad and it gives me warmth that you knew how much you meant to me and always will, having to say see you again one day and watch you take your last breath has broken a very very big part of me that will never be repaired but I will forever carry you with me in life with every beat of my heart. You were like a father to me, I will miss you, your warm presence and your one liners every single day until we meet again. A truly remarkable human being who will always serve as my biggest inspiration and who I had the pleasure of calling my grandad.
Thank you so much to all of you that consider donating as it truly means a lot to myself and the family x
