This fundraising is for the wonderful APCAM team, who have supported and will continue to support some many children, parents and families with their mental health.

The money from this fundraising will be used for continuing much needed support for families over the summer holidays. The summer holidays can be exciting and relaxing for some but for others it can be incredibly difficult. For example, some children may struggle with the change of routine or worrying about the new school year, other families might struggle with limited access to mental health support from school or support networks on holiday. APCAM will remain open over the summer holidays to support families with whatever they need us for.

The APCAM family isn't just our clinical director or our parent support worker , it's all the parents that have built up the courage to walk through our doors and share their story with us (sometimes this means a whole lot of tissues are required , but that's okay 🙂). It's all our "regular" parents who come in each week to support each other unconditionally with any challenges they're facing, usually by drinking an outrageous amount of tea's + coffee's☕. It's every young person , who are brave enough to come into APCAM for their therapeutic sessions or whose come along to our WEGAME sessions.
