Over a few brainstorming sessions, the Furnley House Dream team (Managing director, Stefan Fura, the incredible charity cyclist Darren Bradbury and the marathon man Kevin Dunn) pondered over a challenge that would push them to their limits, the overwhelming winner that emerged was the idea of a triathlon, but seasoned Darren cautioned that it might not attract the attention we were looking for.

Enter Kev, with his wisdom, suggesting the "5x5x5" challenge…………

So picture this –

5 half Ironmans, 70.3 miles in 5 diverse locations, spanning 5 consecutive days. It's not just a physical feat but a testament to the power of collaboration.

This obviously isn’t for fun though, we are raising funds for the Furnley House Foundation, with every £ raised being distributed to 3 very different and important causes:

Steps Conductive Education Centre: Our chosen charity of the year. The remarkable work they do to support children with disabilities and the environment they've created is nothing short of inspiring.

FOCUS: Focus has been inspiring young people, aged 13- 25 years, to make positive changes in their lives and in their communities for over 30 years!

Heartwize: Provide support and training in basic resuscitation skills, showing how to recognise and respond to a cardiac arrest. This will increase the chance of survival for those affected and saving thousands of lives every year.

The aim is to make a difference and to do that, we want to raise £20,000 but we can't do this alone. We're calling on our network, friends, and colleagues to join us for a leg of this journey and, more importantly, to help support us in raising funds for these amazing charities.
