Boost Your Donation with Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation at no extra cost! Through the Gift Aid scheme, the government adds 25p for every £1 you donate. That means:

A £100 donation becomes £125 with Gift Aid!

A £50 donation becomes £62.50

A £20 donation becomes £25

All you need to do is confirm that you are a UK taxpayer when making your donation. Every extra penny raised goes straight into improving our club’s facilities!

If you pay income tax at the 40% or 45% rate, you can claim additional tax relief on your donation. For example:

If you donate £100, Fylde RFC claims £25 in Gift Aid, making it worth £125 to the club.

As a 40% taxpayer, you can personally claim back £25 on your tax return, meaning your donation only costs you £75.

As a 45% taxpayer, you can claim back £31.25, making the actual cost of your donation just £68.75.
