We are going to be walking the Wee Wander Glasgow Kiltwalk on April 26th with Archie as a team to raise as much as possible for Whiteleys Retreat Charity.

Archie lives with a rare genetic condition called Aicardi Goutieres Syndrome which affects every aspect of his day to day life. As a result he spends more time than most attending hospitals, clincs and appointments. He recieves daily therapies at home and school and requires a lot of equipment to help aid his mobility and other aspects of his life. Whiteleys Retreat offer invaluable respite for us as a family allowing us to have much needed time to unwind and spend quality time together. Everything is thought out and accessible. It allows us to travel lightly as equipment like hoists and safe sleep beds are provided and allows for a stress free and peaceful holiday. They even provide beach wheelchairs to allow us access down onto Ayr beach and play in the sand. Every little detail is thought out including emergency contact lists which puts our mind at ease staying away from home.

Whiteleys Retreat is a very special place and close to our hearts for too many reasons to list and it would be incredible if we could raise as much as possible so they can continue to help families like ours !
