I have joined the Walkwyse team (Peter, Lin, Chris & Joe) who are participating in the London Winter Walk half-marathon on Sunday January 26th. Lin will be in a wheelchair as she is in the late stages of Alzheimer's disease, having been diagnosed in 2019.

Peter with help from the other team members will be pushing Lin(his wife of 52 years) around the 21km course in London. Alzheimer's is such a cruel disease and has stolen most of her abilities, including her ability to walk any distance.

Peter, her husband and full time carer is determined to help Alzheimer's Research UK "change the ending" of stories like his wife's and Find a Cure to this devastating disease which effects 1million people in the UK
