The Gujarati Arya Association are fundraising for The Diwali Foundation for their 2024 Diwali Basket Brigade event.

Diwali Basket Brigade is an annual event, which has been running since 2018. The simple objective is to pack food hampers which are then distributed out to vulnerable households, from all faiths and backgrounds, ahead of the festival of Diwali.

Diwali is one of the most popular Hindu festivals, and founder Deepak Parekh, started Diwali Basket Brigade as a way for the community to give back at this auspicious time.

The event is fully run on volunteer support and donations, and works with local charities across 4 cities to ensure the food hampers go to those most in need.
