Gabby adored children.

Happily married, she would have dearly loved her own, but when life chose a different path, she poured her endless love into the families of her nearest and dearest instead, and we were all the more blessed to have felt it.

It should then come as little surprise that Gabby chose a charity she had always supported, Children in Need, as her choice for donations when her time came to travel home.

Gabby was full of love, compassion and kindness, who took a genuine interest in everyone she met.

She never said an unkind word about anyone and we never knew anyone to ever say an unkind word about her.

She loved people. Gabby just made you feel special, valued, seen and cherished. A gift which only highlighted why she was so special herself. Add to that her happy persona, even when faced with adversity, her indomitable spirit, wicked sense of humour and cheekiness, all wrapped up in her eternal optimism and irrepressible positivity and its clear to see why she was one in a million.

We are all just completely heartbroken with her passing, but are trying hard to hold onto knowing she is free of the body that was failing her and that her spirit is now soaring high (and hopefully around us too!). Her Faith never wavered, it is an inspiration.

We know she is safe, we know she is happy, we know she is home. We just miss her sooooo much.
