Why I choose this charity? Because this ladies are doing one of the most important jobs: keeping the ladies in Cheltenham safe every Saturday night from 10pm till 4am Sunday morning. Safeguarding the most vulnerable on a night out and running a Nightcare Hub :

The Nightcare Hub serves as the operational heart of the Cheltenham Guardians Safeguarding Team, providing a secure and welcoming sanctuary for women and girls during nighttime hours in Cheltenham.

Open throughout the evening and into the early hours, the Hub offers immediate access for women to essential resources, including private rest areas, hot drinks, phone charging facilities, and welfare essentials. Our female volunteers are on hand to deliver compassionate support, conduct welfare checks, and coordinate onward assistance—whether that involves safe transport home, liaison with emergency services, or connection to specialist agencies.

Strategically located in the town centre, the Nightcare Hub functions as both a proactive base for Guardian patrols and a reliable drop-in point for those seeking help. Since its launch, it has supported hundreds of individuals each year, reinforcing our commitment to safer nights and empowering women through practical, immediate care.
