Gabriel is a HUGE fan of Gladiators - GO NITRO! GO DIAMOND! - and to raise money for his BG Beacons Challenge at school, a sponsored silence wouldn't really work so what better than to challenge Gabriel to sponsored press ups. One of every year his school Bishop Gilpin has been in existence.

Due to the voluntary-aided status as a school, Bishop Gilpin has to raise 10% of the money needed to pay for the ongoing development of the school, including the buildings' maintenance, facilities and equipment. Without this money it is impossible for the school to maintain its infrastructure to the high standard they have in all other areas of the children's educational experience.
