Story
I’m running for Wellbeing of Women because this is something I’ve experienced first-hand. Women’s health—especially periods and menopause—is still too often dismissed, misunderstood, or treated as something to just “push through.” The reality is that every woman’s experience is different, and many are silently struggling without proper understanding or support.
Wellbeing of Women is working to change that through research, education, and awareness, and tackling the taboos that exist in women’s health, influencing guidelines, policy and practice and empowering women to advocate for themselves.
Taking on a half marathon is a big personal challenge for me, but it’s nothing compared to what many women deal with every day. I want to be part of that change and help raise awareness, and support better understanding of women’s health.
Thank you for supporting me and this important cause.
