In July 2024, I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 33 years old. There were multiple tumours in my right boob and they were aggressive little sods. I have had a mastectomy, and will start chemotherapy very soon. Once that has finished I will have radiotherapy and then hormone medication for a looooong time. I have high hopes for a positive outcome, though some days it all feels too crushingly heavy.

I have the world's best husband, daughter and support system, so I consider myself lucky, despite the circumstances.

What I don't have is a cure for cancer, and my god do we need one. Please, please consider donating to Breast Cancer Now to help fund their cutting edge research so that our descendants may not suffer like so many of us do, now.
