Story
On Sunday October 12th I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in memory of Zohar Dean Collins- the boyfriend of my best friend Martha and good friend of my sister Daisy, who passed away in 2022. I am proud to say Zohar's memory lives on by all those who love him and the fantastic charity Zohar Dean Trust which was set up by Martha.
This is my first time doing a half-marathon and I began training on Sunday... so have given myself a week to prepare. Not ideal! That should be reason enough to donate money to this cause! In all seriousness I am very excited & proud to be running for Zohar and would love if you could donate to a really great charity doing amazing things- even just a fiver!
This year's beneficiaries include:
Nelson's Journey - a Norfolk based charity which supports bereaved children and young people
Babylon Migrants Project - which supports young migrants and asylum seekers living in the UK
Barking and Dagenham Youth Zone - a youth club supporting young people in London's most deprived borough
BIRCH - a Birmingham based charity which runs a hosting network for vulnerable asylum seekers who are in danger of becoming destitute
