Those wishing to make a further contribution to commemorate what would have been Dougie’s 47th birthday are invited to consider donating to Imperial College to support the Dougie Wylie Research Prize for Novel Methods for Cellular Analysis.

All donations made in Dougie’s memory will support an endowed prize in the Department of Chemistry at Imperial College London: the Dougie Wylie Research Prize for Novel Methods for Cellular Analysis. The prize, established in celebration of Dougie and his research legacy is awarded annually to one or more MRes and/or PhD students within the Department of Chemistry adjudged by the department to have produced outstanding work in the field of ‘novel methods for cellular analysis’.

Donations received will be invested in the College endowment and the income generated is used to fund the prize each year. The College may award more than one prize and if the value of the endowment were to increase significantly in the future, the funds may also be used for similar purposes to the original prize – for example supporting students pursuing research in cellular analysis.
