Standing by those Who Served!

At Rapid Response Telecoms, we’re proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with those who’ve served our country. Many of our team members are proud military veterans, and we see every day the courage, dedication, and resilience they bring to our work.

But we also know that the challenges of service don’t always end when the uniform comes off. That’s why this year, we’re proud to support the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal — raising vital funds to help veterans and their families receive the care and support they deserve.

The Poppy Appeal funds mental health services, rehabilitation programs, financial assistance, and community support for those who have served. It’s about remembering the fallen and caring for the living.

We invite our colleagues, partners, and friends to join us in giving back — to honour sacrifice with action and ensure that no veteran faces their struggles alone.

On 11/11/25 a number of veterans and civilian staff will be in combat attire carrying weighted bergens (optional), leaving our yard at Wombwell, tabbing to our yard at Carlton, then finishing off from Carlton to Rapid Response HQ at Whaley Road, in total 9.4 miles.
