Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Hannahs Hope JustGiving page. I was diagnosed with terminal Brain cancer at the age of 19.
After spending a significant amount of time in the teenage cancer unit, feeling very unwell following Brain surgery, Radiotherapy & chemotherapy, I realised that other patients may also need a place to recuperate with their families and create lasting memories.
This realisation led me to start a charity for other Teenage cancer patients. With the unwavering support of family and friends, we are working towards building a respite lodge exclusively for teenage & Young adult cancer patients aged 13-24 at Mercia Marina in Derbyshire.
This location is very close to my home, just 7 minutes from a hospital but completely surrounded by nature.
Your support, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in our efforts to provide this sanctuary for families dealing with the devastation of a cancer diagnosis in a young family member.
