London to Brighton Cycle Ride 2024 · 15 September 2024 ·

Rockinghorse is a Brighton-based charity which has been supporting children for over 50 years. It was set up in 1967 by Dr Trevor Mann to improve healthcare services for sick children and babies. The charity fundraises for items for every child's treatment, from toys to life-saving equipment.

Story

Twelve members of the Galloways Accounting team are excited to be taking part in the London to Brighton Cycle Ride on Sunday 15th September, a 55-mile ride starting in Clapham and continuing along quiet country lanes passing through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath before taking on the challenge that is Ditchling Beacon and ending on Brighton seafront.

We shall be fundraising for Rockinghorse Children's Charity, a Brighton based charity which supports sick and disabled children across Sussex.

They support babies, children and young people, along with their families, at The Royal Alex Children’s Hospital and The Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton and all of the specialist children’s wards and baby units throughout Sussex.

Since 1967 they have supported nearly a million children with lifesaving medical equipment, support for families, environments and spaces for children and additional staff.
