Sports Coaching for children

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

The amazing work of the Teenage Cancer Trust was first brought to my attention when a friend of mine had to go through the horrible ordeal of losing their child. 7 children under 20 a day find out they have Cancer in this country and the Teenage Cancer Trust is the only organisation in place to help these kids.

Each year Game On donate their coaches time to deliver Sports Camps for Primary School children. During the February half term we covered 14 venues but were unable to fit the St. Albans course in, which is why we are doing it this summer. Children can come along and enjoy a full day of sporting activities. We don't charge parents for their child attending the course but instead ask if they could make a donation to this incredible charity. The cost to attend a Game On holiday course would usually cost £25 per child per day but we would welcome any kind of donation to the Teenage Cancer Trust. We would also like to acknowledge the 14 Primary Schools where we hold the events as they have very kindly donated their facilities for free so all the money raised can go to our charity.
