Story
BHECCS:
BHECCS are a Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine team comprised of volunteer clinicians who sacrifice their free time to provide advanced medical and trauma care to the most critically ill and injured patients in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
This group of advanced clinicians receive no government funding, and rely on charitable donations to fund their life saving work.
The fundraisers:
Elliott Kent: Policeman/Marine/Man of Action. Navigation and group protection against mountain lions.
Grace Kent: Intensive Care nurse. On challenge entertainment.
Alexander Baldwin: Doctor. Driver number 1. The Lewis Hamilton of Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Natasha Martin: detective constable. Driver number 2. Lead detective when the trio go missing.
Ganesh Rajaratnam: Doctor. The idiot in the jumpsuit.
As a group of front line workers, we have all experienced the incredible work advanced pre-hospital teams undertake. To support this amazing cause and the "mountainous work" this team undertake on a daily basis, we plan to undertake the "Three Peaks Challenge".
The Challenge:
The challenge will be an attempt to climb the three highest peaks of England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours. Covering a total walking distance of 23 miles, an ascent of 3064 metres and a driving distance of 462 miles, and all whilst wearing the BHECCS jumpsuit and carrying the first response kitbag, will be no small feat.
So please take your time to read more about the incredible BHECCS group and kindly donate to this amazing cause. Any amount is helpful and will go a long way in helping to purchase life saving kit!
