Story
We will be facing our fears and taking part in the arctic challenge, an extreme test of endurance in one of the toughest environments on Earth.
We are not doing this just for the adventure, but to raise vital funds for a charity close to our hearts, the John King Brain Tumour Foundation. The charity started in 2018 in memory of our beloved dad, John King.
The John King Brain Tumour Foundation has a mission to raise much needed funds for those living with brain diseases. We have purchased vital equipment for the Neurosurgery team at St George's Hospital, Tooting. We also maintain the existing McKissock Garden at the hospital, we are funding a new Neuro-ICU roof garden and we are committed to raising funds for a new family kitchen and children’s playroom in the Paediatric Unit.
On 13th March 2026, our Arctic adventure unfolds in the deep freeze of the Scandinavian north, well above the Arctic circle. Travelling over 70km, we will be visiting 3 countries (Norway, Sweden and Finland) and completing 3 adventure activities (cycling, skiing and walking) across 3 stages!
The challenge is definitely out of our comfort zone, but we are willing to push ourselves to raise much needed funds. If you can support us and donate that will be truly appreciated.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
