Chester Ultra 100 Mile · 5 April 2025

The Bowel Movement wants every young adult faced with bowel cancer to have the best possible chance of survival. We aim to achieve this by increasing knowledge and awareness of the common signs and symptoms and empowering individuals to seek medical advice as early as possible.

Story

Each year over 2600 young individuals are diagnosed with bowel cancer. Bowel cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK and accounts for the second highest number of cancer related deaths per year. We know that early detection and diagnosis is vital, and that bowel cancer is highly treatable and even curable if caught early.

The Bowel Movement seeks to educate people about the key signs and symptoms of bowel and colorectal cancers to ensure that every individual faced with bowel cancer has the best possible chance of survival.

On Saturday the 5th of April 2025, Jack and Gareth are competing in the GB Ultra 100 mile event in Chester, with the hopes of finishing the race under the 32 hour cut off.

In doing so, the lads are really passionate to try and raise both awareness and finanical donations towards The Bowel Movement charity, and support the amazing work that they do in supporting people living with bowel cancer.

If you get a chance, it would mean the world to us if you could donate or share this page.

Thank you ☺️
